Bonjour,

Si on administre un serveur wims installé sur sa machine, on a un lien « WIMS gestion du site en ligne ».

Par contre, est-il possible d'intervenir sur le site à distance par internet ? Et si oui, quel est le lien qui permet de le faire ?

Hi,

I am  using « ssh » (secure shell) to maintain wims-servers from the internet/intranet.

This because I'm not to keen on the html-interface  via « WIMS gestion du site en ligne » …

To use « ssh » , port 22  should be open on the firewall, 

you should have an account on the server;

and you should have « sudo » access to the « wims » account on the server

(e.g.  the command « sudo su – wims » will make you « user wims » )

This will give you a non-graphic interface (a terminal & shell) to interact with « wims ».

A very potent filemanager in a terminal is « mc » (midnight commander).

Ofcourse if your bandwidth is high enough , you could start a full blown graphical  session ;e.g. with all kinds of windows and buttons etc to maintain the home directory of « wims »

 

(but I'm not sure if I understand the problem…)

Le lien apparaît si l'IP de l'ordinateur sur lequel tu ouvres le wims distant par un navigateur

a été déclaré. Dans le cas d'une première installation, maintenant, ce numéro peut être entré. Sinon,

il faut entrer de manière locale puis le mettre dans l'interface de maintenance.

Ou encore par ssh, on peut modifié à la main le fichier log/wims.conf

manager_site=xxxx
